We’re Better Together
When Women Gather, Magic Happens
Hey hey,
The past week gave me something I didn’t know I needed: a room full of women who reminded me that we’re not doing this life thing alone.
I attended an event that honored women leaders in our community. These are women of impact, wisdom, resilience, and vision. You could feel the energy before you even entered the room. It was diverse, rich, and full of stories, some spoken, some still unfolding quietly within each woman’s smile.
Some of these women have titles that make headlines. Others hold titles only their families or communities know. But all of them are doing the work of leading, creating, healing, growing, and showing up.
What struck me most wasn’t the list of accolades or titles. It was the unspoken understanding that we are all just trying to stay afloat. We’re mothers, daughters, partners, professionals, caretakers, change agents… and still somehow we find the capacity to pour into others.
This is intersectionality in real life. And it's beautiful.
I often talk about “camaraderie over competition,” and this space embodied it. No side-eyes. No silent power plays. Just women being human, breathing the same air, and saying without words
“I see you. I got you. Keep going.”
As a consultant, most of my work happens in solitude. It’s just me, my thoughts, my visions, and the weight of what I carry for others. There’s no staff room. No water cooler conversations. My colleagues are the goals I hold in my mind and the dreams I write in the margins of notebooks and on the sticky notes on my desk.
So, when someone pours into me… I feel it deeply. And I don’t take it for granted.
Earlier this week, I sat in a meeting with a few brilliant women from an organization I belong to. These too, are women who’ve made a name for themselves and still make time for people. We shared stories, wisdom, ideas, and some “woosah’s” - and it was a snapshot of iron sharpening iron.
But more noticeably, it reminded me of something so simple yet so profound:
We change the world not just by leading, but by lifting!
“Sisterhood” isn’t just about biology, it’s about your actions, about intentions, and nourishing relationships that foster growth and understanding. It’s true solidarity and authentic connections that empower you from within and throughout.
And whether you’re networking over coffee or pushing through a 6PM Zoom call, one thing is true: we’re better together.
So here’s to the iron sharpeners, the safe space creators, the meaningful moments, and the women who genuinely root for each other in a world that often pits us against one another.
Thank you for being that woman…for me, for others, and for yourself!
Let’s keep showing up, even when it’s hard. Especially when it’s hard.
In camaraderie & confidence,
Tee

Something to Sit With
“I don’t compete where I don’t compare.”
—Unknown Author (but probably a woman who’s done with the drama)
Leadership can be lonely. You may sit in a room full of decision makers and still feel unseen. You may be applauded for your accomplishments and yet silently (or loudly) questioned for how you got them. You may be the “go-to” for everyone else, and still not have a safe space of your own to collapse into. Read that sentence again!
This is why intentional community is not a luxury. It’s not fluff. It’s strategy.
This week, ask yourself:
Who sharpens me?
Who hears the unspoken “stuff?”
Who pours into me without an agenda?
Who am I that person for?
Reach out to the women in your world. Not just to talk shop, but to talk soul. Let someone know you see them. Let someone see you. That’s where the shift begins and you’ll feel it.

On the Horizon
Something transformative is coming.
I’m gearing up to launch a brand-new program specifically designed for leaders like you who are ready to grow without burnout. (And nope, it’s not another webinar, checklist, or one-size-fits-all toolkit.)
This program is for the ones who’ve outgrown surface-level advice. It’s for the ones seeking clarity, connection, and caliber.
